My Stroll Around at Rustan's Edsa Shangrila (Part 1)

So back on December 30 I went to Edsa Shangri La to go out with someone and while waiting for that person I decided just to roam around at Rustan's. I swear to god I haven't been to Rustan's Edsa Shangri La for a LONG time so I felt kinda lost because they are some new boutiques inside and the first boutique that I visited is the men's boutique of Hugo Boss. While I'm just browsing on some items inside I saw some pretty good items but most of them are in the Hugo Boss Green line so it means it's on the sporty side. So I asked the SA if the boutique only carries the Hugo Boss Green line and he said yes. He added that the mainline Hugo Boss is on the actual store at East Wing (I didn't went there). But there's this sneaker that actually caught my eye.

Hugo Boss Spacit lace up sneakers

It looks like a fusion of the Prada sneakers that looks like Jordan 11 and a typical sporty shoes. But I don't think I can pull it off coz it's not just my style.

My next stop is at the Montblanc boutique and I didn't saw something interesting. I just browsed on the leather goods section nothing caught my eye. So I went to the boutique next Montblanc which is Cartier. I entered the Cartier store and I immediately asked the SA for the LOVE jewelry line but she told me that they only sell watches, sunglasses, perfumes, and leather goods. So I'm kinda disappointed so I just browsed around the store. And I saw a watch that caught my eye.

That exact watch really caught my eye also the rosegold version of it. I wanna try it on my wrist but the person that I'm gonna meet is already near the mall so I need to rush to our meeting place, HAHAHA!!!

So it's been a long fun day, the person that I went out is already home coz that person is kinda near the mall. HAHAHA!!!! I still don't feel going home so I went back and just stroll one last time. My first stop is at L'Occitane boutique and just stroll around check some deodorants and lotions for myself but nothing ticks my nose to buy it so I went to the Chanel boutique and since I've been to Chanel beauty boutiques literally every Rustan's they have the same stuffs so I just asked the SA to give me a paper with the Chanel Allure Homme Sport Extreme since Rustan's ATC doesn't have it so I gave it a try and it's very citrusy maybe a sport version of the Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche (I swear this is the most citrus fragrance I've ever had) so I didn't bought it. And I asked the SA if they have the Chanel Double Facettes Mirror, but she told me it's sold out so I'm kinda sad. HAHAHA!!!

Chanel Double Facettes Mirror

So after Chanel I went to the Burberry boutique and when I entered the boutique the first section that caught my eye is the "Scarf Bar". For those of you who doesn't know about the Scarf Bar at any Burberry stores. The Burberry Scarf Bar was launched last Fall in celebration of the heritage house’s cashmere scarves, there’ll be a Scarf Bar in every standalone Burberry store worldwide, offering customers the chance to create their own unique design.

Burberry Scarf Bar

I immediately asked the SA if they can monogram scarves if I bought one but he said that it's not available here in the Philippines. He added that that service is only available in Singapore here at the South East Asia region. So that made me off with the scarves since I want to hit the streets with a monogrammed Burberry scarf just like Cara Delevigne. LOL. My visit at a Burberry store is NOT complete without checking some classic trench coats. Burberry trench coats are very classy no matter the color is, it's just a classic piece. I would even consider it as an "investment piece" just like a Chanel Tweed Jacket. I check the fit of a classic trench and it looks stunning!!!! Too bad I didn't took a pic of myself wearing it :(

Watch out for the second part and you'll found out my first encounter with onee of my dream bags!!!
That's it for today!!!

Arrivederci!!!

Chanel: The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

We're here again for an another version of The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly this time we will feature another very famous luxury house Chanel. If you want to see the first one please look for the same title and I featured Louis Vuitton on the previous one. So Let's start!

Chanel Logo

Chanel S.A.  is a French, privately held company owned by Alain and Gerard Wertheimer, grandsons of Pierre Wertheimer, who was an early business partner of the couturière Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel. Chanel S.A. is a high fashion house that specializes in haute couture and ready-to-wear clothes, luxury goods and fashion accessories.

Women Handbags

The Great:

Chanel Small Grey Micro Chevron Boy Bag ($ 4,700)

Chanel Small Grey Micro Chevron Boy Bag is a very nice bag, it is not your typical Chanel bag. It is from the Fall/Winter 2014 Act 1 Collection.

The Good:

Chanel WOC Clutch Bag Sevruga ($ 1,150)

The Chanel Wallet on a Chain or WOC is the clutch purse that is portable and easy to carry when you only want to hold a few things at a time. Comes in a variety of the styles included “classic quilt“, “timeless classic” and “half-moon” style. The clutch purse also comes in different materials such as lambskin, caviar or patent leather, with a choice of encrusted CC logo, large embossed CC logo and even multicolore CC.

Maybe it's one of the most common Chanel bags around but still it is a very sheek and elegant purse.

The Bad:

Chanel Black Grand Shopping Tote Bag ($ 2,900)

The Chanel Grand Shopping Tote is as much a classic as the 2.55 Quilted Flap bag. It features the signature double chain handles with large CC on the quilted exterior. Comes in silver and gold hardware with leather padding on the chained handles.   The bag comes in a variety of materials including lambskin, caviar, patent and metallic leather. It’s also been spotted in multiple colors; however, one can never go wrong with the classic black.

Just Get rid of the big Chanel logo and it will be better.

The Ugly:

Chanel Hula Hoop Bag ($ 2,700/ 3,100)

Introducing the Chanel Hula Hoop Bag. Officially called the Wind Power Bag, this was first seen at the Chanel Spring / Summer 2013 Runway show back in October. Made of lambskin leather, the classic flap bag is attached into two hula hoops that serves as a handle for the bag. It features the signature flap and CC closure in silver hardware. It’s the hottest accessory for Spring and is available in red, yellow, blue and white.

Seriously? o.0

News: CHANEL PREMIERS ITS “THE ONE THAT I WANT” FILM

Chanel has premiered its “The One That I Want” film – a new campaign celebrating the iconic fragrance Chanel N°5. The film is produced, conceived, and directed by auteur filmmaker Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby), with production design by Oscar-winner Catherine Martin and stars Supermodel, Gisele Bündchen. When Luhrmann directed the N°5 film starring Actress Nicole Kidman in 2004, he joined a prestigious line of directors who have collaborated with Chanel – from Ridley Scott and Luc Besson to Kathryn Bigelow and Martin Scorsese.

Chanel Premiers Its The One That I Want Film

The film tells the story of a woman who struggles to find space for everything, ranging from herself and family to career, and love. “The Chanel woman can be with herself on a beach, can be with her child, can have an aspirational and fulfilling work life, and at the same time she can have a true relationship; she can have romance…And in the end, the Chanel woman chooses love.” says Luhrmann.

Model, actress, mother, philanthropist, and businesswoman, Gisele Bündchen is one of the most dynamic women of the decade. Luhrmann’s strong connection to the world of music, so evident in his feature films, is reflected in his choice of Lo-Fang’s cover of “You’re the One That I Want.” With no words or dialogue in the film, the music is not an accompaniment; it is the film’s backbone. Check out the video below.

Top 10 Perfume Brands (designer)

Top 10 Perfume Brands (designer)

10. Gucci - My favorite brand for all luxury stuffs. From clothing to fragrances, they have some decent fragrance lines and some are not. But when they do something nice, it's superb. I know many people say that when Gucci make some fragrance it's generic, dull, to common. But for me Gucci deserved to be recognized to this list. My favorite Gucci fragrance is Gucci Made to Measure.

9. Yves Saint Laurent - Yves Saint Laurent made some great perfume lines especially during the times when Tom Ford is the creative designer. Yves Saint Laurent has ups and downs for their perfumes, but most of their lines are great, Yves Saint Laurent is worth the mention. My favorite Yves saint Laurent fragrance is Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme Libre Cologne.

8. Fendi - Fendi was one of my favorite designer perfumes right now. I love their Fan di Fendi line, Pour Homme and Pour Homme Aqua smells so nice. I like the way they describe their Fan di Fendi line, they described it as "It" fragrance. Fendi was worth the mention on this list. My favorite Fendi fragrance is Fan di Fendi Pour Homme.

7. Dolce & Gabbana - D&G always make something good, it is so popular here in the Philippines and that's the thing that i don't like about D&G. It is so common that's why i feel uncomfortable when i wear D&G. I feel everybody is wearing D&G. But they make nice fragrances that's why everybody is using it. My favorite D&G fragrance is Dolce & Gabbana The One Sport.

6. Givenchy - Givenchy always meet my expectations for their fragrances. They always give me a great satisfaction to their fragrances. Givenchy was really worth the mention and #6 is their perfect place. My favorite Givenchy fragrance is Givenchy Play Sport.

5. Versace - Versace was universally known during the 90's and they still doing a good job. Their perfumes are superb. I recommend you this brand if you are just starting to like perfumes. My favorite Versace fragrances are Versace Eau Fraiche and Versace Pour Homme.

4. Hermes - Hermes was widely known for it's very expensive clothes and bags. Hermes is also expensive in fragrances considering it's only a designer brand and not niche. But the quality, sillage, longevity, and the smell of their perfumes are great. My favorite Hermes fragrance is Terre D' Hermes Eau de Parfum.

3. Tom Ford - Some people consider Tom Ford a niche brand for it's ridiculously expensive price, and some people consider it a designer brand because it i basically a designer brand. Tom Ford's fragrances are impeccable. Every cent is really worth it when you buy one. My favorite Tom Ford fragrance is Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.

2. Chanel - Chanel's fragrances are all great. This is my personal favorite perfume brand. Maybe the price is kinda bit expensive than the usual designer fragrance, but it is worth it. My favorite Chanel fragrance are all of their men's fragrances!

2. Guerlain - Guerlain is tied with Chanel because they have the same quality, but the price of a Guerlain fragrance is just right for the quality, sillage, smell, and longevity of their fragrances. Guerlain is one of the best for me. My favorite Guerlain fragrance is Guerlain Homme.

1. Dior - I choose Dior to be on the top spot because of the quality price ratio it is worth it. Dior gives me always an a-list heeling. I feel like i'm a celebrity every time i wear Dior. My favorite Dior fragrances are Dior Homme Intense and Sport.
