The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: Louis Vuitton

The Great, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly was inspired by Youtube perfume reviewer robes08, but in his videos it's only The Good, The Bad and The Ugly I add The Great because I think that every piece on different brands have a pretty great piece not just good. I will start with Louis Vuitton:

Womens Handbags:

The Great:

Louis Vuitton Alma PM Epi ($2,120.00)

The most structured of the iconic Louis Vuitton handbags. The original was the creation of Gaston Vuitton, who named it for the Alma Bridge, a span that connects two fashionable Paris neighborhoods. This contemporary version of the iconic silhouette, crafted of Épi leather, comes in an array of bright, bracing colors.

Epi + Alma = Greatness

The Good:

Louis Vuitton Capucines MM ($5,600.00)

Taking its name from the rue des Capucines in Paris, where Louis Vuitton opened his first store in 1854, the timelessly elegant Capucines bag is a testament to fine leather craftsmanship. In full-grain Taurillon leather, it combines refined details, including a semi-rigid handle secured by jewel-like rings, with a spacious, functional shape offering two inside compartments. Its distinctive flap can be worn in two ways: outside to reveal the outline of a Monogram flower, or inside to show the LV initials.

The Louis Vuitton Capucines MM bag is part of the Soft Leather Collection. The Aspects that urge me to put this on the Good Side are: Very Soft Leather, Minimal Logo, And the Bag Structure is great.

The Bad:

Louis Vuitton Marylebone GM Damier Ebene ($1,810.00)

A refined city bag for the modern woman, the Marylebone GM is elegantly tailored in Damier canvas. Its generous proportions highlight a classic shape that hangs from any shoulder with style and grace.

We got to admit the Damier Ebene is heavily copied by the counterfeits. People around you has always a second thoughts if your bag is authentic or not. I think the Damier design especially the Cobalt one are more suitable for Men.

The Ugly:

Louis Vuitton Bag with Holes by Rei Kawakubo ($2,790.00)

Upon seeing Japan’s first Louis Vuitton store in 1978, Rei Kawakubo discovered the allure of French craftsmanship and art de vivre. Today, the creator of Comme des Garçons applies her radical, refined aesthetic to a House icon, revisiting the Sac Plat with boldly conceived asymmetrical cutouts and raw-edged details to produce this provocative "Bag with Holes." Sleek and capacious, the bag is a natural for travel in durable Monogram canvas. The practical insert pouch keeps belongings secure.

Seriously?! Bag with Holes?! This is the one of the ugliest designer bags i've ever seen in my entire life. I respect Rei Kawakubo she's a very good and innovative designer, I love Comme des Garçons. But this?! My God! I just don't get the designers point of view on this one. I don't get the "provocative" statement of this bag.

Men's Bags

The Great:

Louis Vuitton Cuir Taurillon Messenger Bag ($3,850.00)

This a messenger bag that delivers. Crafted in supple Taurillon leather, it’s the ultimate symbol of sophisticated urban living. It features a multitude of interior and exterior pockets to keep your on-the-go lifestyle organized. And it’s so versatile, it can be carried 3 ways: on the shoulder, cross body or in the hand.

This bag is so simple yet classy. You can't see any logos only exquisite leather quality of Louis Vuitton. This is perfect in all occasions.

The Good:

Louis Vuitton Michael Backpack Damier Infini ($3,600.00)

Whether for business or leisure pursuits, the Michael NM is the most versatile of backpacks. Numerous pockets and compartments enhance its appeal, as indeed does its supple Damier Infini leather.

The only Damier line that I like, the logo was a little bit minimal. The design was so masculine, the leather was great. I'm not a backpack guy I'm more of a messenger bag guy, but this bag was so cool.

The Bad:

Louis Vuitton Thomas Damier Graphite ($1,240.00)

Keep everything neatly in order with the practical Thomas. Elegantly masculine in iconic Damier Graphite canvas, it is the ideal bag for the man who needs something compact and efficient.

I just don't see anything masculine about this bag. I can see my mom wearing this bag.

The Ugly:

Louis Vuitton Reporter PM Monogram ($1,360.00)

Inspired by photographer bags, the smallest bag of the Reporter collection offers intelligent organisation with two patch pockets and a comfortable adjustable canvas strap.

Seriously?! Who do you think a guy would wear this?! This bag is like Crocs, it's a sex killer. Monogram + Not so manly look and structure = Nah!!!
